He has a laser-sighted barrage cannon which can fire plutonium-tipped warheads for a range of sixty miles. When it was obvious that Megatron was preparing to pursue the Allspark to the ends of the universe, Optimus Prime had to choose to search for the very item that he had tried to lose in the empty vastness of outer space.
Prime and his most trusted warriors struck out for distant systems and remote stars, using the Allspark’s last known trajectory as their guide and exploring untold planets. The trail finally led to Earth where they received an urgent summons from Bumblebee.
OPTIMUS PRIME
The planet Cybertron was destroyed by war which was fought between the legions who worshiped chaos, and those of us who now follow freedom. We fought for the control of the supreme power, the Allspark. We don’t know the origin of it but it has the life force that is the basis of our race. We battled until our universe was covered by death. We fought until the ground swallowed our mighty cities and the Allspark wasgone to join the limitless stars.
However, by fate or fortune, its course was changed and it was drawn to the planet Earth. And so, every 1,000 solar years, the Allspark promises us of returning life to our home. We have looked for it across the universe of time, in hope of finding it before the dark legions find it. But, as luck would have it, we were already too late!
How the Allspark originated is lost in the mist of time and all its cosmic secrets are securely locked away. As it is the ultimate source of power in the universe as we know it, it has the power to create or destroy. The Allspark ruled the large currents beneath the surface of Cybertron, and Cybertron thrived and prospered.
There was consequently no conflict or injustice and so no need for war. This lasted until Megatron who is Cybertron’s Lord High Protector tried to claim the Allspark for his own purposes. He took Cybertron into civil war and Optimus Prime was all that stood between Megatron and the ultimate power.
COSMIC CODE
Although no being from Cybertron has ever had the audacity to explore the mysteries of the Allspark, the peculiar alien symbols that are written on the entire outer surface have always been the subject of conjecture. The most brightest minds on the planet Cybertron have considered their meaning, trying to comprehend more about this strange source of life-giving energies. Up till now, no one has managed to crack this cosmic code.
